End of our Australian Tour

Sadly our trip has come to an end. It has been an incredibly exhilarating experience visiting places that we have only seen in brochures or on programs like Get Away. Nothing like seeing it for real. Even though we have missed a few areas, for one reason or another, we feel very satisfied with what we have seen and the distance we have covered. Since we started in Tassie, we have driven over 56,000 klm.
The next step is to prepare for our trip to Malaysia.

Great Ocean Road, Victoria

Great Ocean Road region, which covers south-west Victoria, would have to be one of the world's most stunning stretches of coastline and scenic roads. The many spectacular rock formations of the Port Campbell National Park have been gouged away from the towering limestone cliffs over thousands of years. Some of the attractions include The Arch, London Bridge, The Grotto and Bay of Islands. This is definitely a trip that everyone should do at least once in their life.

Blue Lake, Mount Gambier, SA

The Blue Lake mysteriously turns from a winter grey colour to a brilliant azure blue in the month of November, lasting till April. A very interesting attraction to see.

Victor Harbour, SA

Victor Harbor is a great holiday destination and is situated around 80km from Adelaide. The township has panoramic views of the rugged granite landmark bluff and Granite Island. Just 19 km from Victor Harbour is the small town of Goolwa and the mouth of the Murray River. Both towns have many historical building to explore. Unfortunately for us, the weather was not kind, so photo opportunities were rare.
