Arthur River

A tourist attraction known as the 'End of the World'. According to the local shop keeper, the next stop to the west is South America.

Arthur River

The sleepy little town of Arthur River. According to one of the locals, the town has a population of 36. Seemed a little strange to me as there were definitely more than 36 houses in the town. Perhaps the others were holiday homes.
Just as well it was not a busy town as there was only one lane on the bridge.

Bluff Hill, Far West Coast of Tasmania

On the way down to Arthur River, we stopped at Bluff Hill. This is the most western point in Tasmania. Extremely rugged and I dare say, extremely cold during winter.

The 'Nut', Stanley

After taking a walk around the top of the Nut, it was time for some lunch - a feed of good old fashioned fish and chips. The dogs and sea gulls quite enjoyed their share as well.

The 'Nut', Stanley

After a relaxing drive to the Nut, at Stanley, it was time to take walk around the base and take in some of the lovely sites.
