Gunns Plains Caves, Gunns Plains

Another great morning was spent at the Gunns Plains Caves. Sensational formations thoughout the caves.

Time out

After a day on the road, it was time to sit back and relax, and reflect on the days sites.

Big Tree & Dip Falls

We headed inland for a picnic lunch to visit the 'Big Tree' and Dip Falls. Due to the dry spell, there was not a lot of water coming over the rocks. Beautiful country scenery along the way.

Historic Highfield Site - Stanley

This historic site was originally a farm that was owned by the Van Diemans Land Company and built by convicts in the early 1800s.

Lake Chisolm Forest Reserve

Lakes that are so still that you see a mirror image reflection and trees that are so tall that they appear to be touching the clouds. You really begin to wonder how much better than this can it get.

Julius River Forest Reserve

These pictures were taken while we were walking through a rain forest at the Julius River Forest Reserve. Breathtakingly stunning scenery!

Arthur River

A tourist attraction known as the 'End of the World'. According to the local shop keeper, the next stop to the west is South America.
