Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, Walpole, WA

Located near Walpole, Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is clearly a very popular tourist destination. The structure is 600 metres long and rises 40 metres above the forest floor. The walk presents awesome views over the forest of 400 year old red tingle trees known as the Valley of the Giants.

Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, WA

Another great place to visit and do some nature walks and take in the beauty of the park. If you are lucky, you may even see kangaroos, possums and wallabies.

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, WA

The historic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is situated at the most south westerly tip of Australia, standing at the point where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet crashing against the Cape. From this point, the next land mass is the Southern Polar Cap, which is approximately 5,400 kls away.

Fremantle, WA

Fremantle has many fish and chip cafes to visit and have a relaxing wine and a meal. There are also many beautiful old historic buildings to visit. For a breath of the sea air, you can take a walk down to the fishing boat harbour and take a stroll around the boardwalk. A great place to visit.

The Swan Bell Tower, Perth, WA

The Swan Bell Tower is situated on the Barrack St. Jetty, overlooking the Swan River and the city skyline. Also housed in the tower is the Oldest Bell in Australia featuring a giant bell weighing 459KG and dating back to 1550. The Bell Tower includes the twelve bells of St Martin-in-the-Fields, which are recorded as being in existence from before the 14th century and recast in the 16th century by Queen Elizabeth I.

Murchison River - free camp ground, WA

After a long drive, it was time to relax and sit down with a beer or two and watch the local wild life on the river. Other than some very clean toilets, there was no electricity or water, so you need to be self sufficient to camp at this site.
