70% of the roads to Cape York are quite good, even on the gravel roads, however as for the remaining 30%, they are terrible. I think that these roads must be among the worst in Australia (at least from what I have seen). The corrugation and dust on the roads is something else. At one stage, I thought our Land Cruiser was going to shake to bits.
