The Three Sisters, Blue Mountains, Katoomba, NSW

The Three Sisters are a famous rock formation in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. They are close to the town of Katoomba and are one of the Blue Mountains' most famous sights, towering above the Jamison Valley. A bushwalking trail leads to the Three Sisters and down to the valley floor via more than 800 steel and stone steps called "The Giant Stairway". As it was raining, we decided not to take the walk down to the valley floor. This tourist attraction is definitely worth scenic drive up from Sydney...it’s a must do!

Fighter World, Williamstown RAAF Base

For those who are interested in aviation history, Fighter World is a great place to visit and see many different types of fighter aircraft, past and present, used by many air forces across the world. You can also experience first-hand the day to day operations of an active Fighter Base and view RAAF F/A18 Hornet strike fighters taking off and landing.

Nelson Bay, Port Stephens, NSW

Nelson Bay is the largest town of the Port Stephens area; it is 223 km north of Sydney via the Pacific Highway. It's a great place to visit and explore with many great restaurants and shops.
