Lake Hart is situated on the Stuart Highway, approximately 40ks NW of Woomera. Sensational views can be had from the rest area or by taking a short stroll down to the lake’s edge. Some years ago, salt was scrapped off the surface of the dried lake bed. All that remains from this operation are a few rusted out remnants of a bygone era.
