The Living Desert sculptures are located around 10.5ks from Broken Hill. This major attraction has twelve large red sandstone sculptures which highlight the skyline on the hilltop. The best time to see the sculptures is at dawn or just before sunset in the glow of the low sun. Unfortunately for us, there was heavy cloud and we missed seeing them at their best.
