Jim Jim Falls, Kakadu National Park, NT

Jim Jim Falls is located in the Kakadu National Park, and like Twin Falls, is one of the best known attractions in the Park. The Falls are located around 15kms from Twin Falls. Once there, you will be rewarded with crystal clear water and breath-taking views of towering escarpments, and of course, the falls, which at this time of the year, are unfortunately just a trickle. You can swim in the very cold plunge pools which are located at the bottom of the Falls. The first half of the walk to the river is quite easy. The second half of the walk is quite arduous. It requires scrambling and rock hopping over many boulders. They are often slippery with sand and it's very easy to slip and do some damage to yourself.
