Serpentine Gorge is located within the MacDonnell Ranges, 100 kilometres west of Alice Springs. Its secluded location provides for a memorable walk through scenic surrounds with River Red Gums lining the well-marked walking trails. A walk to the top of the gorge, to the lookout above the cliffs, will give you a birds-eye-view of the narrow, winding Serpentine Gorge and its series of semi-permanent waterholes.
