Ormiston Gorge would have to be one of the most spectacular of the gorges in the West MacDonnell Ranges. You could spend many hours exploring the Pound which runs east from the large waterhole at the gorge. The area is rich in fauna and flora and has facilities such as barbecues and toilets which can be found at the car park near the gorge. A must visit!
