Katherine Gorge, NT

The spectacular Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park is a must-see for any discerning tourist. The most visited landmark in the region. The twelve kilometres Katherine Gorge is carved through the Arnhemland plateau. It is a continuous gorge that is separated during the dry season by rock bars. The spectacle of the river, sheer cliffs and rock art make this an excellent place to explore.
